Our Company is looking for an experienced Senior R&D Product Designer. At Aluminco, we are a high-performance team that delivers remarkable results in the global marketplace, offering state-of-the-art, innovative, certified aluminum systems.
Responsibilities
Cost Effective development of new products with a strong customer satisfaction mindset.
Having close co-operation with all company functions (Commercial, QC, Finance, etc.) and Management, studies, designs, evaluates, and manufactures innovative quality products and ensures marketability.
In-depth understanding of the existing equipment (machines, controllers, molds etc.) and production processes to produce competitive and innovative new products and ensure availability of leading-edge equipment for efficient and effective production.
Makes sure that all necessary steps are taken to prepare molds and ensure the supply of components, meeting time and quality KPI’s to manufacture the fully functional samples and ensure flowless production capability.
Using lean techniques, always try to identify and suggest effective technical solutions for problems created during the production of new and existing products, either in their components or during the assembly of the final product.
Have a keen eye for market research, new products, and competition.
Communicate project status and findings to management and other stakeholders and maintain close collaboration with the R&D Manager, the Production Manager, and the Quality Manager.
Develop and maintain construction design manuals
Qualifications
University or Technological Education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in MS Office and 3D design programs (Rhino or Inventor, AutoCAD)
Additional FLIXO software knowledge will be appreciated.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Very good knowledge of English -min. level C1-
Creative with an innovative mindset and a can-do attitude.
Strong technical and analytical skills with an innate attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
