Tokat, where INFTEC-2024 will take place, is a city located in the Central Black Sea Region of Turkey along the Tokat River (known as Tokat Suyu in Turkish), a branch of the Yeşilırmak River. The city was established during the Hittite period and served as one of the many fortresses of Pontus King Mithradates VI during his reign.
