AETHON is an engineering SME working on innovative technology products for smart cities, transportation, mobility, logistics, and energy. We are currently seeking a versatile Full-Stack Developer with expertise in both frontend and backend development to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on a variety of innovation projects and products, contributing to both the user interface and the server-side logic of our technology solutions.

Your goals:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Svelte.
  • Build and maintain backend systems using Python, Node.js, SQL, and Redis, creating scalable, efficient, and secure server-side applications.
  • Integrate frontend and backend aspects of the web applications with a focus on optimization and functionality, facilitating seamless data exchange and user experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews, adhere to development best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software development to propose and implement innovative solutions that keep our products at the cutting edge.

What we are looking for in candidates:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency using HTML, CSS (including scripting languages, e.g., SCSS), JavaScript, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React).
  • Proficiency using Python or Node.js, SQL and no-SQL databases.
  • Experience in developing responsive web applications with a focus on user experience and performance.
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
  • A passion for learning and adopting new technologies in the rapidly evolving field of software development.
  • Proficient in the English language, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

What we consider a plus:

  • Experience with Figma or other design tools for creating UI/UX designs.
  • Knowledge of more than one frontend or backend technologies and frameworks (than listed above).
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Involvement in open-source projects or community contributions in the field of software development.
