Chemical Engineer, Energy Services – Elefsina, Greece

The Role
Join Ecolab’s industry leading Nalco Energy Services team in Greece as a Chemical Engineer and take the opportunity to take on some of the world’s most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve abundant energy and healthy environments by providing safe, sustainable chemistry programs and services to the oil and gas industry, refineries, and petrochemical operations. The role reports to the District Representative and interacts with the Energy Services Division Manager.

The Chemical Engineer role we are looking to cover will be based on site at one of our client’s refineries in Elefsina.

What You Will Do
The role is responsible for:
• Customer Relationship Management. The Chemical Engineer is expected to support the Account Manager in building relationships starting at site/operational level.
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
• Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

Qualifications & Skills
• University Degree in Chemical Engineering
• An MSc in Petroleum Engineering would be considered a plus
• Up to 3 years of experience in a relevant position.

Experience in a chemical/oil and gas industry will be considered a plus.
• Driving License and ability to commute to Elefsina daily
• Ability to operate independently with little supervision
• Proficient knowledge of English language
• Advanced Computer literacy
• High regards for safety
