The main duties of this role include:
- Creation and continuous updating of a Database with the assets of the Project Authority for rehabilitation (buildings/facilities, electrical/mechanical equipment, land, machinery) in Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS or QGIS), with existing and new data.
- Collection of data in the field using various methodologies.
- Creation of GIS reports (2D & 3D).
- Ensuring compliance with safety measures and the contractual obligations of the Contractors.
- Physical presence at the facilities in Ptolemaida.
Qualifications include:
- University degree in Rural and Surveying Engineering from AUTH/NTUA (5-year program).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and collection of data in the field.
- Driver’s license.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Completion of military service for male candidates.
Nice to have:
- Background in surveying assets for rehabilitation in mining/quarrying projects.
- Experience with 3D visualization software (e.g., Geomagic Design X, Global Mapper).
- Skills in programming with Python.
