Minerva Internship Program 2025-Electrical Engineering Internship Opportunity

Minerva Marine Inc. offers an internship opportunity for an aspiring Electrical Engineer to gain hands-on experience in the maritime industry. Working alongside experienced Electrical & Electronic Superintendent Engineers, you’ll apply your academic knowledge to real-world shipboard operations,
while developing technical and professional skills essential for a career in maritime engineering.
Main responsibilities:
• Support the Electrical & Electronic Superintendents in monitoring and evaluating the performance of onboard electrical systems and automation equipment.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of technical documentation, including electrical diagrams, specifications, and service reports.
• Participate in the coordination of planned maintenance schedules and troubleshooting processes for vessel electrical systems.
• Contribute to the analysis of equipment performance and failure reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Follow up with service providers and manufacturers regarding technical clarifications or maintenance tasks.
• Gain exposure to dry-docking and repair project planning.

Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, ideally with a focus on industrial or marine applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in the maritime industry and a strong desire to learn.
• Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken).
• Eligible for ESPA or University-funded Internship.
